We all have choices and none of us are immune to bad moments.
It’s how we decide to react to them that makes all the difference in the world.
After a trying week, I counted my blessings and made a choice.
A Choice to forget, learn, forgive and grow.
For those who relate… you are not alone.
~ I wanted to share.
THE CHOICE
I stare at a lonely puddle, so serene, I dream
I toss a stone and watch the ripples, chaos it would seem
A rushing river along this walk, from my gasp this stone can’t hide
Pondering impressions from the two, my thoughts they seem to rise
Should I be a stranded puddle, tense, my mind would chide
OR should I be this flowing mass, here to enjoy the ride
