Low Testosterone Symptoms

People asking the question, “Is it Low Testosterone ?” always wonder what are the symptoms. Here a a list of just some of the symptoms that can affect you when you have Low T or Low Testosterone .

Muscle loss –Medically termed “atrophy”, Muscle atrophy occurs faster in men who are less physically active prior to their 50’s. Your protein intake also plays a large role in the retention of a person’s muscle by the time he ages to his late 40’s.  Testosterone is also a muscle building hormone. That’s why athletes who look forward to getting more muscles take in Testosterone supplements to expedite increase in muscle mass.

Reduced Quality of life – Basically this means your overall happiness.  A person with low Testosterone levels will experience a lack of energy. This will effect many aspects of your life making simple task tedious and exertive task seem almost impossible (Sports etc..)  Men in their 50’s are still urged to at least get 3-4 hours week of exercise for cardiovascular health and to ward off obesity.

Decreased Sex Drive – As well as a declining libido, inadequate Testosterone levels will also cause weak erections. Some men in their 50’s might find it easy to get an erection but will eventually find it difficult to maintain throughout intercourse. Weak erections are due to the inability of the penis to hold the blood inside its tissues. This capability loosens up with age and Testosterone inadequacy.

Infertility – Some Men can have some infertility issues on HRT due to the fact their sperm count can decrease…

Mood Swings – Your mood is affected by the quality of sleep you get.  Low levels of Testosterone, usually causes poor sleep in men and women.

Depression – Because of the body’s capability to perform tasks , you may feel inferior in comparison to what your previous self could do. Testosterone restores your self confidence, postitive outlook on life and your ability to cope with the stressors that life puts on you daily. If you don’t feel like you once did, depression may set in. If you feel this symptom in particular, please contact your Primary Care Facility or visit JoyRich Health Care Centers for a FREE CONSULTATION. Depression can be the cause of many other health concerns including insomnia.

Osteoporosis – Testosterone plays a large role in keeping the bones of our body solid and intact. Once Testosterone falls below normal levels, our bodies frame soon follows.

  2. Just wanted to add one more importance of Testosterone to your list:

Testosterone although a primary male hormone, it is also useful to the brain. Low testosterone levels have been associated with poor intellectual performance. The findings of the studies mentioned in this article does not surprise me as i experienced such things.
So optimum testosterone level will keep body function optimum. Too much testosterone is not good, will make the man over confident and aggressive and most of the time it will create unnecessary sexual urge.

There are many levels to monitor in order to obtain healthy increase of testosterone. We hear from many new clients that have been elsewhere for testosterone therapy and that they feel that something else is wrong. One of the biggest health concerns is simply that many places do not check other levels to balance the system in a healthy way. Not following up with a simple blood draw for lab analysis, is simply a shortcut that can lead to many health issues. That is why we at JoyRich Healthcare Centers have created a closely monitored system to track and adjust levels of many imbalances that plague patients.
With a healthy, thorough program with a systematic approach to overall health (not just testosterone) can identify and be modified to meet each patient individually. As all people are not the same, a “global approach” to simply increase testosterone levels IS NOT recommended.

If you (or anyone) has questions regarding our procedure, we offer a FREE consultation and we would be happy to go over our program so you can experience the difference of our program here at JoyRich Healthcare Centers.
